nice capture... maybe a different time of day would have been better ;)

I like the splash of light at the top. The two logs add interest. I do find the composition to be a bit too busy. Still, a very nice image Gary.

Snow on sunny section looks overexposed.
Snow on other sections looks a bit gray:ich.

Composition is a bit common maybe.

Lucky you, this year we have only had snow 1-2 days for the whole winter.
That sucks big time! :(

Agree with above about lighting conditions;)

I agree about the uneven lighting but it is the main reason I shot this, to try and capture the extremes in the shadow, sunlight areas and the focus on the sunlit ice covered log. Maybe an HDR might have worked but with the fast moving and changing water flow I didn't think that was a good choice.
Thanks for commenting!

Given the contrast I find it well exposed. I agree about the composition. The ice structure is neat. Nice one.

Wait!!!!!! This is not Apophysis!!!!
Very nice to see you back in the photo section my friend! I've been missing you photos!
I like it the way it is, with all the light/shadows difference. It may be a bit busy as MsM said, but still a very nice one!
