Nice concept and diversity from you Gary!
Always appreciated!

See you used the supermacro lense: Raynox DCR-250... :)

Wish the blue piece was smoother.

why should it be smoother it has a little bit of sugar on it
I think its perfect
good eye candy =P

ha!

Avatar ThruMyEyez

Very nice Gary. Brilliant colors and good textures. I might have done something with a bit more depth here ... perhaps from an angle rather than looking straight down on the jelly beans. Directional lighting might also have helped. If you had say ... placed a light to one side you'd have created some nice dark shadows which would add more interest and contrast. Now ... go eat some jelly beans ... get a sugar high ... and go out shooting. Good work!

Great shot Gary, I agree with MsM about a different angle, but I still think this is great!

(thumbup) for seeing and capturing this
(thumbdown) for the outcome. sorry gary, this may sound harsh but the composition doesn't work at all for me - and a piece like this can't live with a good composition.
maybe, but only maybe it would work if you flipped it by 180° and moved the blue sprinkle a bit more to the border... but I really don't know :(

Very cool. At first glance I thought they were Cheetos! ;) It's amazing how something so simple can be so interesting due to various tonal values. Makes it seem a lot is going on! Nice job! :)

this would make a cool wallpaper Gary! I don't want to sound stupid but what are they? I know that is not the point of the photo but I am just curious anyway. really nice abstract. I would have gotten rid of the deformed 'thingy' but that probably wasn't noticable at the time I presume.

Good stuff Gary
