Quite possibly a strange title for a flower photo, however one that struck me almost immediately when viewing this. I wonder if anyone else will see the association.

Beautiful flower!!....great details!
I would try to add first some black to the yellows.....I think that would add more depth and maybe adjust the levels if you need to...just maybe.

You sure know how to handle that little beast of a camera

Very good work again. What there is to like is the perfect focus, sharpness (which perhaps is already a tad too strong) and the background which albeit taken at f/8.0 does look good!

What I first came to think of was that it has quite some gritty, darker look to it, which is unusual with flower shots, but not necessarily bad
