Description
This is a shot of water falling over autumn leaves and grasses at the top of a dam. It was cropped with saturations and contrasts increased. It is one of my most abstract submissions and one based solely on color and patterns, and one which will generate some pros and cons I'm sure.Make : TOSHIBA

This includes work that gets the artistic value mainly from filters or other automated processes. Think of motion blurs, glows, 'wind' or distortion filters, generic fractals, lens flares, fluid filters, etc.

I like it very much!

I love the colors which you captured, and my eyes were stuck to the photo, yet there isnt enough "umph" in the photo to make you look at it longer for that gluing thirty seconds
And the "abstractness" of it wasn't exactly abstract

Gary, I like this photo. It's not the usual waterfall snapshot. It does makes you look at it a bit longer. It's not a riot of color. If you look closely, there's structure to the color. You've highlighted nature's color pallette and shown how color and light interact. You have captured a rare moment -- a scene not many of us have seen before. Good job.

I knew this would result in many different opinions and I knew I was in for some harsh critiques as well as support.
Andrzej: "how different we looking @ the same pictures...." This is always very true and to be expected.
maytree: "hmm, isn´t it photomanipulation?" I added no elements to this nor did I move or in anyway distort any objects from the original. My only alterations were cropping a small section from the original and increasing the saturation and contrast as stated.
buse: I know the posting guidelines very well. No photoshop filters were used in this....no motion blurs, glows, 'wind' or distortion filters, generic fractals, lens flares, fluid filters, etc. I appreciate you refreshing my memory nevertheless.
Thanks to all who understood my purpose in posting this. I cannot always play it safe, or refuse to experiment because I happen to be in the elite gallery or because I have to worry that some may not think it is up to their view of what is appropriate. As many of you stated, sometimes I have to post photos that I enjoy, or are something different for me, or just because I enjoy seeing how the viewers react. I continue to appreciate ALL the comments and everyone who takes the time to look and critique my work!

yes I kinda agree with maytree before I read your answer.
But this work evokes me a lot about life and love.
I dunno why...but this work is one of inspirations I see here at GFX...
